I've always been a sucker for retro stuff. Old Coke signs, sports uniforms, and even old fast food logos, it doesn't matter. I simply love the retro look.
So naturally(no pun intended), I LOVE the news that Natural Light is going with the retro cans, mirroring their 1979 look. The nationwide rollout begins on February 6th.
As long time Natty Light patron, I've had the pleasure of sipping from many different can iterations of the domestic, light, and cold beverage. In fact, my first beer was a Natty...but that's a story for another time. However, this latest return to the retro can has been my favorite. The contents in the can certainly matter, don't get me wrong. But it just hits different when the can has that old school look and feel. The retro logo just exudes Americana, like something you'd expect to see in 1970s or 1980s when life moved a little bit slower and we weren't staring at a screen all the time.
Even though it's 2023 and modern technology abounds all around us, there's something comforting about anything retro. So let's all "Act Natural" and enjoy each little 12 oz time machine with a classic logo that just screams "America."
